Eclipsed Sun animation

Taken 29 March 2006 from Antalya, Turkey using a Panasonic DMC FZ20 Digital camera unguided on a tripod. Exposure 1/250 at f/5.6 This is a composite of 4 frames taken over about 30 seconds and showing the totality and the diamond ring at exit. The last 3 frames are taken over about 6 seconds. The images, were taken by Stefan Zietara and processed by Chris Rowland; they were registered and cropped using IRIS, then converted to GIF and made into an animated GIF using intergif.

Taken 29 March 2006 from Andalsnes Observatory, Amersham, UK using a 80mm refractor and web cam. Approximately 800 stacked images - total time 1 minute at f/10. The solar eclipse of 29 March 2006 viewed through a sufficient break in the clouds to permit at least one image!
