 Galaxies
Some more Virgo galaxies. Taken with a 80mm refractor, 0.8 focal reducer and Canon EOS 450. 25 x 40 sec exps stacked in DSStacker. They are rather small so I have labelled them – hope I’ve got them right. David

As you say a lot of galaxies. Some of them just look like stars. A nice collection David. Do you use bulb on the Canon? Are some of the exposures dark frames?

I’ve given up using dark frames Jan. They don’t seem seem to make much difference. The camera was set to ‘bulb’ and the exposures made using a Hahnel Gigo Pro wireless remote control. A nice gadget that works at a distance of up to 100m.
