Meetings Calendar for 2008
Here is our diary for 2008. We have two types of regular meeting every month. A lecture style meeting typically on the third Wednesday of each month and a practical.
Lecture meetings start at 7:45pm at Woodrow High House, Amersham, Bucks. Click here for a map. Unless otherwise mentioned, all meetings are held in the Frankie Vaughan Studio which is situated to the left and round behind the main house (it is not visible from the car park). (Please note - we are now holding some of our meetings in the Sports Hall). Click here for sketch plan - showing the Studio and Hall.
Note regarding the Practical evenings - these are held on Thursday evenings at 8.00pm (also in the Frankie Vaughan Studio), and are designed as discussion groups and observing sessions where members bring their own scopes (weather permitting). Please come suitably dressed for outdoor observing. For further details on observing sessions/projects please click here.
